1. About these terms and who we are
These terms apply when you use our website, book a free assessment or enrol a learner in an EyeQBoost program. Please read them carefully. By booking or enrolling, you agree to them.
In these terms, “EyeQBoost”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean:
- Business name: EyeQBoost Sdn. Bhd.
- SSM registration number: 202501033997
- Registered address: 58 Jalan SS 24/17 Taman Megah, 47301
- Email: info@eyeqboost.com
- WhatsApp (messages only): +60 11-1651 3098
“You” means the parent or guardian who books or enrols, and “learner” means the child taking part. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
2. Our services
EyeQBoost is a holistic education company for learners from pre-school to Form 5. We offer:
- Online learning programs, including gamified brain training and live coaching;
- A free assessment to understand your child’s strengths and recommend next steps; and
- School partnerships, which are covered by a separate written agreement with each school. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the school agreement applies.
Details of each program, including what is included, session length and fees, are given on our program pages and in your enrolment confirmation. Find the link to the session length & fees here
3. Eligibility and parent or guardian responsibility
Our programs are for children, and under Malaysian law (including the Contracts Act 1950) a child cannot enter into this agreement. So our contract is always with a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over, who books and pays on the learner’s behalf.
As the parent or guardian, you agree to:
- give us accurate information and tell us about any changes;
- tell us about any learning, health or wellbeing needs that may affect how your child takes part;
- pay fees on time; and
- make sure your child follows the session rules in section 8.
4. The free assessment
The free assessment costs nothing and there is no obligation to enrol afterwards. It helps us understand your child and recommend a suitable program. It is an educational guide, not a medical, psychological or diagnostic assessment.
If you can no longer attend, please let us know as early as you can so we can offer the time to another family.
5. Bookings and enrolment
Sending our website form or messaging us is an enquiry, not a booking. A booking or enrolment is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing (for example by email or WhatsApp), and for paid programs, when the first payment is received.
Places in live coaching sessions may be limited. We may decline a booking, for example if a program is not suitable for the learner’s age or stage, and we will tell you why.
6. Fees and payment
- Currency: all fees are in Malaysian ringgit (RM).
- Fees: Here
- Payment schedule: [TODO: e.g. monthly in advance, per term or per package, and the due date]
- Payment methods: [TODO: e.g. online banking, card or e-wallet] through [TODO: payment provider]
- Taxes: [TODO: state whether fees include any applicable tax, such as SST, or are tax-exempt]
- Late payment: [TODO: what happens if a payment is late, e.g. sessions paused after a reminder]
We may change our fees, but we will give you at least 30 days notice before a change affects you. Fees you have already paid will not change.
7. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
Rescheduling a session
If your child cannot attend a live session, please tell us at least 24 hours beforehand and we will try to offer another time.
Missed sessions
Sessions missed without the notice above are counted as delivered and are not refunded or made up.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel a session, we will offer a replacement session.
Ending your enrolment
You can end your enrolment by giving us 14 days written notice by email or WhatsApp. [TODO: refund rules, e.g. unused prepaid sessions refunded pro rata within 14 days, less any non-refundable registration fee]
Refunds are paid using the original payment method [TODO: confirm] within [TODO: number] days of being agreed.
8. Online sessions: conduct, safeguarding and technology
We want every session to be safe, friendly and focused. To help with that:
- Supervision: a parent or guardian should be nearby during sessions for young learners; Year 1 to Year 3, and remains responsible for the learner throughout.
- Respect: learners, families and coaches treat each other kindly and respectfully. We may pause or end a session, or a learner’s place, if behaviour is unsafe or repeatedly disruptive.
- No recording without consent: No one may record, photograph or screenshot a session without the consent of all participants and their parents or guardians. EyeQBoost records sessions solely for internal quality assurance; recordings are stored securely and deleted once no longer needed. No image, video, or voice of a child will be published or shared anywhere without the express written permission of their parent/guardian, which applies only to the use described and may be withdrawn at any time.
- Safeguarding: if we are worried about a child’s safety or wellbeing, we will talk to the parent or guardian and may need to inform the relevant authorities. [TODO: link your safeguarding policy, if you have one]
- Technology: you need a suitable device with a camera, microphone and a stable internet connection, and access to eyebraingym. We are not responsible for sessions lost because of problems with your own device or internet connection.
9. Learning outcomes
Every child learns differently. We work hard to help each learner grow, but we cannot guarantee particular results, such as exam grades or test scores. Progress depends on many things, including regular attendance, effort and practice between sessions.
10. Intellectual property
Our programs, activities, worksheets, videos, games and website content belong to EyeQBoost or the people we license them from. You and your child may use them for the learner’s own personal, non-commercial learning while enrolled. Please do not copy, share, sell or publish them without our written permission. Schools may use our materials as set out in their partnership agreement.
11. Testimonials and photos
We will only use a testimonial, photo, video, name or work from you or your child (for example on our website or social media) with your clear consent, given separately from these terms. Consent is collected through a short media consent form, signed by the parent or guardian, which sets out what material may be used and where. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us, and we will stop using the material in anything new.
12. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect or consequential losses;
- we are not liable for problems caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as internet outages, your own equipment or third-party platforms; and
- our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service concerned.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or any rights you have as a consumer under Malaysian law.
13. Changes to services and these terms
We may improve or change our programs, coaches, schedules or platforms from time to time. If a change significantly affects a program you have paid for, we will tell you in advance, and if you do not wish to continue you may end your enrolment under section 7.
We may also update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date, and we will tell current families about significant changes. These terms take effect on 8th October, 2026.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If you have a concern, please contact us first; most issues can be sorted out quickly and informally. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, it will be dealt with by the courts of Kuala Lumpur, to whose jurisdiction both parties submit.
